Industry academia partnership is a topic that has been thrashed about over the past year. Yet there are few companies that are walking the talk. Drishti Soft, a three-year-old Gurgaon-based telecom firm, in a pioneering effort, leads the way.
Explaining the firm's interest only in IITians, Mr Bhatia said, "We understand and know how to motivate an IITian. We share a bond: this helps in the work environment." He said that most IITians have an urge to work, sometimes even without sleep. The company understands and encourages this attitude, acknowledging the effort by each contributor.
